Travel Tip: a 3-outlet adapter solves the power problem

Seasoned business travelers are problem solvers, which is good, because hotel rooms are riddled with difficulties for serious travelers. Not enough outlets? No outlets that are accessible without moving 500 pounds of furniture? Not enough outlets near the bed or by the piece of furniture that is masquerading as a desk?

The miracles of wi-fi and a hot spot are defeated when my phone and laptop are power-deprived door stops.

I'd considered buying a short power strip from Belkin, but the added weight and bulk of a strip and cord were non-starters in the gallon-sized zipper-lock bag that serves as my gizmo gear bag. A 3-outlet-adapter from Good Choice  for $1.79 at the grocery store is now in the bag.

Problem solved.
